Introduction:

The challenge, therefore, is to identify the fundamental concepts that affect the application of statistical techniques, which are associated with the method that will achieve the research objective and express the results in a simple and effective way for the correct interpretation of these results. The correct understanding and interpretation of the results allows companies and other organizations to make decisions with a good information base for various objectives, such as: new businesses, new lines of research, cost reduction, harmonization, flexible production, among others.

Offer an update on the fundamental knowledge about Sensometry using R. Know and use this tool. Guide to planning, execution, data processing, analysis and interpretation of results.

• Professionals who have previous experience in data processing in the area of ​​sensory analysis and studies with consumers or who have studied Statistics at graduation. It is recommended, with emphasis, prior knowledge in descriptive statistics, as well as experience in tests of significance such as Student’s t test and F test;
• Professionals certified with Module I or II.
